24th Camp-out

Sounds like quite a few people are coming up for the weekend. I have heard so far that Louis and family are coming up, also Marie, Beth, Dawn, and Julie. Patsy has to work this week-end so she can't come, which is always a BIG bummer, but she did get to take last week-end off for her birthday. I hear that Uncle Jess and his family are coming up and will be camping at Aunt Anns. If you are wondering what is going on with food etc, I really don't know. As of right now, everyone is on their own. I have hamburger and hotdogs so far for my kids. I haven't planned much else.

Girls Night Out at Wheeler Farm

We all enjoyed spending the evening at Wheeler Farm. The weather was awesome! We found a nice shady spot, and enjoyed eating and visiting together. It is so nice to have Beth here for a while and joining us in our get togethers and activities. Zack was there also and he had lots of fun looking at the ducks and geese and just hangin out with all his doting aunts and his Grandmas. Marie, Ellen and Krisitie were there with their babies, and it was fun to see the three babies all together. Everyone seemed to really enjoy just hanging out, visiting and enjoying each others company.

Girls Night Out

Rachel and I are doing a girls night out on this Tuesday, the 20th of July, at 6:00pm, at Wheeler Farm. Bring a pic-nic and a treat to share if you want. Some of the girls want to bring their cameras to take some fun pictures of each other while they are there. We might also bring some lawn games to play. We picked Wheeler Farm because it is centrally located and free. We were going to go bowling but decided that it would be too expensive, and that we would rather get together and visit than spend money on goofy looking shoes:) Sure hope you can come!

Girls night out!

Yes, Rachel and I are still planning on going bowling for our girls night out. We are waiting on Patsy to get her work schedule so we can plan it on night she can go. We will let you know:)
While hangin out on the front porch late last night, we noticed a truck driving slowly up Oakridge Rd. So. a little past Aunt Ann's driveway towards my place, it stopped for a second while someone got out, then went up the road a little and turned the corner towards Grandma Faye's , then stopped again. It looked like someone got out again and was messing with a road sign. Then they drove up towards Grandpa's house and turned up toward Kelsch Circle. They stopped and got out and we could see that they were messin with Grandpa's road sign. We jumped in the car real fast to go after them to see what they were up to. We had a feeling that they were up to no good. Anyway, as soon as they saw us coming they jumped into their car and headed up the road towards Grandma Linda's, but not before stealing Grandpa's road sign! Dad was on their tail like stink on ****, with his brights shining right on them. Lucky for us, but not for them, they chose to drive up the only road around that goes no where:) We tailed them up around towards Judd's where they pulled up behind Judd's big garage. At that point they realized they were cornered with no where to go, so they stopped. They opened their window, and confessed to Dad what they had done. He got out and went over to talk to them while I was on the phone calling Judd to come out just in case there was trouble. Dad said they were two young punks who said they were just out goofing off. Dad said they sounded really nervous when he confronted them, asking them who they were and why they took the sign. Dad in his usual sweet and polite way asked them "if they would please go put it back," which they agreed to do. Moral of this story is: Don't go stealing road signs up on the Kelsch Compound, not with all those security cameras and security guards on every corner!

24th Camp-out

We will be camping out over the 24th. Camping will be at both places, with dinner and a bon-fire wherever Dad is. So bring your tent and camping food and come and have some fun! If you want to stay inside that is fine too. Other things to consider bringing would be roasting sticks, goodies and games to share, jackets, and hiking shoes.

Jungle Jims was Lots of Fun

All the kids seemed to have a great time at Jungle Jims. The roller-coaster was probably the most popular ride. Even Zack and Ali thought it was a ton of fun.
